What do these classes cover?

These are non-medical ostomy lifestyle classes designed to help you live an active life with an ostomy. You'll also learn how to connect with helpful resources. These vendor-neutral classes provide an overview of basic ostomy supplies, pouching systems, and accessories. The live 90-minute session includes time for participants to ask general questions in real-time.

*Please note: these are non-medical ostomy lifestyle classes, no medical advice will be given.

 Who leads the classes?

Patient Classes are co-led by a real person living with an ostomy and a volunteer ostomy nurse (WOCN) from a University Medical Center.  Class leaders are volunteers and not affiliated with any vendor.
